Have you had to move out of a rental home when you did not want to?
We are researchers at the University of Melbourne and Monash University studying how private renters in Victoria rebuild their lives after unwanted or forced moves.
You might have had to move because you could no longer afford the rent, the rent was raised, the landlord sold the property, or a family member of the landlord moved in. If you recognise any of these situations, we would like to hear about your experience.
The survey takes about 10 minutes. Some questions ask about difficult experiences. You can skip any question you do not want to answer and you can stop at any time. Your answers are confidential.
At the end, we will ask if you would like to be contacted for an optional follow‑up interview. We are offering $75 as a thank you for taking part in a short conversational interview.
By clicking “Take Survey”, you confirm you are 18 or older, and have rented from a private landlord or real estate agent at some point in the past 5 years in Victoria.
